Editorial

I edit and review postgraduate theses, academic articles or book manuscripts – mainly in humanities and social-science subjects. I have a doctorate in history, and I've been a university lecturer in history and an editor for an academic journal, so I'm very experienced at applying academic norms and standards.

I also edit fiction and creative non-fiction. I'm a published novelist, and I have a second doctorate in creative writing. I've also taught and marked undergraduate creative-writing courses. So I am experienced with both academic and professional standards in both these fields too.

I currently do freelance work for several UK publishers.
